Pre-Op Instructions

To ensure that all the best conditions are maintained before surgery we ask you follow the following instructions. If you have prescribed medication you feel may have a detrimental effect please inform us prior to the procedure.

Resist the use of anti inflammatory medications or aspirin 7 days before.
Avoid alcohol three days before and caffeinated drinks the day before.
Avoid tobacco products at least twenty four hours prior to surgery.
Avoid multi vitamins such as vitamin B and E one week prior to surgery.

Wash your hair the morning of the procedure; do not apply fixing sprays, gels or waxes.
Take breakfast the morning of the procedure.
Wear comfortable clothes and a shirt that is buttoned down the front.
Driving home is seriously frowned upon, arrange for a ride or overnight stay.
